Senior Clinical Pharmacy Leader at Providence Health & Services.

Full-Time/Day Shift

This role involves assisting the pharmacy management team in orchestrating the daily organizational and operational functions of the Pharmacy. You will provide guidance to pharmacists and technicians engaged in pharmacy operations, ensuring appropriate staffing based on workload and staff availability.

The Senior Clinical Pharmacy Leader is accountable for directing the integrated delivery of precise, safe, efficient, and cost-effective pharmacy services through collaboration with fellow pharmacists and other healthcare professionals. This position oversees a particular area or specialty within the pharmacy department, such as central unit dose, IV room, or satellite pharmacy. It serves as a pivotal role to further cultivate leadership skills in preparation for future pharmacy leadership opportunities.

Required Qualifications:
  • PharmD: Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor's Degree: BS in Pharmacy
  • Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant practice experience or PGY1 with at least 2 years of pertinent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Training in Process Improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, LEAN Methodology, and CAP tools
  • 1 year of Leadership experience

The listed amounts represent the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, including shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
