Job Overview

As a vital member of our logistics team at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES DIST INC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining an efficient workflow and supporting our commitment to quality service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Operation: Safely manage forklifts and other warehouse machinery to handle materials and products, ensuring no damage occurs during loading, unloading, or transferring.
  • Inventory Management: Verify and receive items according to established procedures, ensuring they are stored in designated locations.
  • Cycle Counts: Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Order Fulfillment: Process will calls and ensure timely order completion.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and transaction entries in a timely manner.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Customer Assistance: Provide support to customers and customer service representatives as needed.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow standard operating procedures and company policies to ensure operational consistency.
Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and awareness of surroundings.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and report generation.
  • Ability to effectively load and unload products.
  • Proficient in safely operating a forklift in a dynamic warehouse setting.
  • Willingness to pass required assessments and obtain forklift certification within 30 days.
  • Dependable team player with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
  • Minimum of one year of experience operating industrial forklifts is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Valid driver's license is mandatory.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $19 - $22 per hour.
