Job Summary:

Lowes Foods is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Culinary Intern to join our team. As a Culinary Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Corporate Chefs to develop new food items, recipes, and programs that drive sales and meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Fresh Foods team and Chefs to create innovative and on-trend retail items, recipes, and programs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new food products, including made-from-scratch items and manufactured products for retail outlets.
• Work closely with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of new products and programs.
• Utilize culinary fundamentals and costing skills to drive business results and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
