Job Summary

The IT Technician position at Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort provides technical support for key business operating systems and system users in a dynamic environment under the direction of the IT Administrator. This role requires excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills to maximize efficiency and guest and employee experiences while supporting company values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with day-to-day operations, technology issues, and other duties as assigned by the IT Administrator.
  • Respond to support requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technology issues as needed.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of IT systems.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and cleanliness.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate IT-related documentation.
Requirements
  • Experience with computer hardware, Microsoft networking systems, wireless networking, servers, relevant software, internet software, and e-mail.
  • CCNA certification and VMware experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and communicate effectively with non-technical employees.
  • Ability to learn new skills and become familiar with new systems and equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, task-oriented environment and maximize use of time.
  • Valid driver's license and meet Motor Vehicle Record qualifications as outlined in the Fleet Safety Program.
Work Environment

Dodge Ridge employees work in a dynamic environment with varying weather conditions and business levels. The IT Technician will be required to work between 32-40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. The position requires the ability to work in high winds, heavy snowfalls, low visibility, rain, and extreme temperatures.

Uniform and Equipment

A professional appearance is required at all times. The resort will provide most of the uniform, but employees are required to provide certain items, such as sunglasses, gloves, sunscreen, and winter footwear with Vibram soles.
