Job Summary:

As a Biomedical Equipment Supervisor at Penn State Health, you will be responsible for directly supervising a team of BMET Technicians and/or Imaging Engineers. Your key responsibilities will include assigning work, setting priorities, monitoring completion, and holding others accountable to department standards and expectations. You will also be responsible for resolving customer service issues and supporting departmental leadership. Additionally, you will be capable of educating others, including clinical staff, on medical equipment and may lead projects and monitor work performance of others. Participates in hiring activities and completion of annual performance reviews. Can work independently without daily management oversight and manage their workload and workload of others independently.

Requirements:

An Associate's degree in Biomedical or Electronics Technology or related field or equivalent military training is required. A minimum of seven (7) years of related experience is also required. A valid driver's license, BMET certification, IT certification, and previous management experience are preferred.
