Perioperative Services Manager

As a Perioperative Services Manager at Sentara, you will be responsible for the safe management of patients throughout the perioperative experience. This role requires a strong leader who can assume responsibility and accountability for operations and success. You will be responsible for the delivery of high quality services which meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility and accountability for operations and success.
- Responsible for the delivery of high quality services which meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Position is responsible for safe management of patients throughout perioperative experience.
- Serve as mentor by role modeling a professional practice consistent with surgeon expectations, organizational goals, customer service, clinical effectiveness, patient safety and clinical standards of care.
- Manage 7 direct reports and oversight of approx. 125 indirect reports.
- Scope include the following specialties: General/ENT/Trauma, Vascular/Podiatry and GYN/Eyes/Plastics/Orientees.
- Hiring of RNs including their Call schedule and Holiday schedule.
Requirements:
- Required Education: RN-Bachelor's Level Degree.
- Experience: Operating Room- 3 years; Supervisory- 3 years.
- Licenses and Certifications: Registered Nurse.
- Master's level degree in nursing preferred.
- Preferred experience in General, Trauma, Neuro and Ortho.
