Position Overview:
As a key member of the lending team, you will utilize your expertise to make informed credit decisions for members seeking various loan options.

Core Responsibilities:
- Assess loan applications and conduct interviews with applicants to evaluate their creditworthiness.
- Gather necessary documentation to support the loan approval process.
- Prepare and submit required forms to the Lending Manager.
- Analyze income verification and credit reports to facilitate loan processing.
- Underwrite a diverse range of loans with a high degree of autonomy.

Essential Duties:
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for inquiries related to the Credit Union's lending programs.
- Ensure all applications are complete and accurate, providing guidance to branch personnel and members regarding loan requirements.
- Establish stipulations for loan applications to ensure sound lending decisions.
- Monitor and report on the performance of dealer partners to management.
- Compile monthly production reports and communicate findings to the manager.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Offer recommendations to the Lending Manager and/or Credit Manager for credit applications exceeding individual underwriting authority.
- Assist branch staff in the closing and disbursement of loans, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
- Stay updated on lending regulations and compliance requirements.
- Complete management-requested reports and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
- Register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) and undergo a background check, with annual registration maintenance.

Salary Information:
Compensation is set at $25.12 per hour.
