Position Overview:

At Trane Technologies, our Material Handling team plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and preparation of finished goods for shipment. Team members are tasked with upholding established inventory management protocols to maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize power pneumatic and manual tools effectively.
  • Operate forklifts and hoists safely and efficiently.
  • Engage in repetitive assembly tasks of components and sub-assemblies according to specified methods and sequences.
  • Adhere to company policies and union agreements, demonstrating flexibility in meeting essential job functions.
  • Be available to work various shifts and overtime as required to fulfill production needs.
  • Perform multiple roles both within and outside the designated product area.
  • Wear all necessary safety equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Follow all established plant regulations and procedures.
  • Contribute positively to team dynamics within the assigned work area.

Additional Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Prior manufacturing experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to work any shift as needed.
  • Capability to operate a Powered Industrial Vehicle.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Starting wage: $22.85 per hour.
  • Additional pay for second and weekend shifts.
  • Vacation benefits available after the completion of the probationary period.
  • PTO/Sick Leave granted after six months of employment.
  • 401K matching program.
  • Medical benefits provided after the probationary period.
