Step Down Unit Registered Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Step Down Unit at TotalMed Staffing. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced nurse to provide high-quality care to patients transitioning from intensive care units.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized nursing care to patients transferring from ICU to general medical-surgical units.
  • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other certifications as required by facility)
  • Two years of recent Step Down experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
Estimated Salary:

$2,101.72 per week, Richmond, Virginia
