Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Branch Operations Leader, you will oversee the management of our satellite branch office, aiming to enhance market share, service quality, and profitability. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing branch staff.
  • Monitoring lender programs and compliance requirements.
  • Providing training and support to Loan Officers during meetings and events.
  • Encouraging a collaborative team environment through coaching.
  • Facilitating communication with lenders, escrow agents, and sales teams.
  • Engaging with potential borrowers to secure loan applications.
  • Building relationships with Home Builders and Realtors to generate new business.
  • Ensuring all loans comply with established guidelines and policies.
  • Maintaining accessibility to clients and responding to inquiries promptly.
  • Conducting initial interviews with borrowers to assess their needs.
  • Assisting in the pre-application process and following up on incomplete submissions.
  • Traveling to meet clients and gather necessary documentation.
  • Preparing loan packages for submission.
  • Locking in loan rates according to company policies.
  • Compiling necessary data for loan applications.
  • Maintaining comprehensive reports on loan status and projected closings.
  • Leading weekly meetings to discuss pipeline progress with processors.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of three years of experience in mortgage lending, including origination, processing, closing, and underwriting.
  • At least one year in a supervisory or management role.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • A four-year college degree is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
