Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to join our team on a full-time basis for the 2024-2025 school year in Cumberland, RI.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in psychology, with a focus on providing support to students, parents, teachers, and administrators. Key responsibilities include individual and group counseling, psycho-educational assessments, consulting, planning developmental and remedial programs, training district staff, and serving as a liaison between family and community agencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive psychological services to support student success
  • Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address academic, social, and emotional concerns
  • Administer psycho-educational assessments to diagnose specific learning, emotional, and behavioral disabilities
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement instructional plans
  • Train district staff on strategies for supporting students with diverse needs
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a RI School Psychologist License. A minimum of 1+ years of experience in school psychology is also required.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $ 100,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include UnitedHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401k Retirement Plan with Company Match, and Weekly Pay.
