We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Illinois Jack. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for managing restaurant operations in conjunction with, or in the absence of, the Restaurant General Manager. You will be responsible for recruiting, selecting, training, and developing restaurant employees and promoting a fun and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strong role model for other employees, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Ensure a strong awareness and concern for food quality and safety, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Be able to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient development and talent, implementing effective training programs and systems for employees.
  • Understand and utilize Illinois Jack's systems, processes, and tools, ensuring compliance with all state and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain the brand image of restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and excellent service, serving as a role model for excellent guest service.

Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.

· Demonstrates high ethical standards, treats employees and guests with respect, and actively listens and communicates timely, clearly, and accurately with management team and crew.

· Remains calm when challenged or placed under pressure, calms others who are confronted with a difficult situation or task, and effectively manages conflict.

· Demonstrates a strong awareness and concern for food quality and safety, and restaurant cleanliness.

· Ability to lift and carry 10-50 lbs.; ability to stand and walk approximately 85%-95% of shift.

· Ability to move freely throughout the restaurant.

· Ability to operate restaurant equipment.

· Ability to drive a motor vehicle and provide valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.

· This is in addition to the qualifications of a Team Member, Team Leader, and Assistant Manager II.
