The Opportunity


We are seeking a part-time Customer Service and Cleaning Professional to join our team at Courtyard at Kennedy in Titusville, Florida.


Job Summary

As a Customer Service and Cleaning Professional, you will work to ensure the property is kept organized, sanitized, and up to company standards. This is a night shift position from 3:00 pm- 11:00 pm, two days a week.

Responsibilities

Some of your key responsibilities will include:



  • Service, clean, or supply restrooms
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
  • Gather and empty trash
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees
  • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems
  • Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
  • Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors and steam clean or shampoo carpets
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
  • Remove dirty linens from guest rooms and transport to the laundry room
  • Transport clean linens to housekeeping carts and storage closets. Keep closets stocked, clean and organized.
  • Deliver cribs, rollaways, additional amenities and any other item as requested.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • At least one year working in hospitality industry; previous commercial cleaning and/or guest service experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools and fixtures
  • Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations
  • Ability to provide excellent guest service and work quickly under pressure
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must have a valid driver's license and transportation to and from work

Salary and Work Schedule

The estimated salary for this role is $15.50 per hour. The work schedule is a night shift position from 3:00 pm- 11:00 pm, two days a week.
