Position Overview:

At MSA, The Safety Company, we are dedicated to safeguarding lives through innovative solutions. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our manufacturing team as Production Workers. This role is essential in transforming specialized fabric into high-quality protective gear.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate various industrial sewing machines to execute over 100 stitching operations for turnout gear.
  • Engage in machine operation tasks including cutting, trimming, and sealing materials.
  • Participate in material preparation, labeling, inspection, and final packaging processes.

Work Schedule:

This position typically follows a 1st shift schedule from 5:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday overtime based on operational needs.


Compensation:

The starting pay for this role is $16.50 per hour.


Qualifications:

Required:
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand or walk for the duration of the shift.
- Capability to assist in lifting items weighing approximately 30 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred:
- Experience in sewing machine operation or stitching.
- Previous background in quality control and inspection.


Education:

A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position.
