We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Interventional Radiology team at UNC Health. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging support during interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including fluoroscopic, ultrasound, and computed tomography systems.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and sterile technique.
- Assist physicians during procedures, providing necessary supplies and equipment.
- Document patient information, procedure details, and imaging results accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification -or- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
