Job Summary

Trescal Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Calibration Technician to join our team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for performing calibrations on high-level and unique test and measurement instrumentation, using your troubleshooting, repair, and calibration knowledge to work on complex equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform calibrations on high-level and unique test and measurement instrumentation.
  • Use your troubleshooting, repair, and calibration knowledge to work on complex equipment.
  • Interact with customers to determine needs relating to traceability, adequacy of standards, and test procedures utilized by Trescal Inc.

  • Ensure that preventative maintenance of the laboratory's equipment is performed in a timely and acceptable manner.
  • Manage work load distribution for the technicians within your sphere of influence when the Laboratory Manager is not available.
  • Perform daily inspections of the incoming equipment to verify accessories and manuals are available, malfunctions of customer instrumentation, and to change equipment status when appropriate.
Requirements
  • Military calibration training and work experience (PMEL or TMDE) or an AS degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience calibrating test and measurement equipment in a commercial or military calibration laboratory.
  • Experience in calibrating multiple disciplines of test and measurement equipment, including electrical/electronics - DC/low and high voltage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload.
