Key Responsibilities- Perform calibrations on high-level test and measurement instrumentation.
- Utilize troubleshooting, repair, and calibration expertise to work on unique equipment.
- Collaborate with customers to determine needs related to traceability, standards, and test procedures.
- Ensure timely and acceptable maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Manage workload distribution for technicians when the Laboratory Manager is unavailable.
- Conduct daily inspections of incoming equipment to verify accessories, manuals, and equipment status.
- Military calibration training and work experience (PMEL or TMDE) or an associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience calibrating test and measurement equipment in a commercial or military calibration laboratory.
- Experience in calibrating multiple disciplines of test and measurement equipment, including electrical/electronics.
- Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload.
