This position is an unclassified role in Facility and Property Oversight at Louisiana State University (LSU). The Coordinator will assist the Assistant Vice President/University Architect and the Manager of Capital Projects and Deferred Maintenance with Capital Outlay submissions for construction projects and oversight of design and other matters for all LSU campuses.
Key Responsibilities- Perform administrative functions for main campus design, construction, and deferred maintenance projects.
- Maintain Construction Progress Report for Capital Outlay Construction projects for all campuses.
- Assist in the management of digital and paper files, including construction projects, correspondence, plans, and specifications.
- Coordinate Capital Outlay Request submissions to the Board of Supervisors, the Board of Regents, and the State.
- Prepare and maintain summary reporting of real estate and construction transactions and projects.
- Maintain all records of real estate transactions involving the Board of Supervisors.
- Draft transmittal memos and coordinate the transmittal of real estate and related matters for review and approval.
- Bachelor's Degree with experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience in construction offices and/or real estate offices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
