Job Summary:

The Retention and Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) and Employment Services (EMP) Programs comply with ORR Federal grant policy guidelines. This includes verifying adherence to RCA eligibility policies, tracking and documenting case progression, and ensuring services are provided in a timely and effective manner to eligible clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides technical assistance to program staff on internal and external databases, policy updates, and other inquiries.
  • Responsible for synthesizing RCA and EMP data to curate work assignments on a weekly basis.
  • Point of contact for RCA and EMP compliance eligibility related inquiries.
  • Ensures that eligibility for the RCA and EMP program is followed and documented as required.
  • Responsible for completing RCA and EMP reports, client numbers and outcomes, and the ORR RCA and EMP quarterly report.
  • Responsible for keeping and maintaining an RCA and EMP internal spreadsheet for tracking all enrolled RCA-EMP clients.
  • Ensures that proper referrals are made to employment services and that clients are participating in mandatory programming per program compliance agreement.
  • Works together with other staff members to ensure clients receive benefits according to their service plans.
  • Reviews and maintains accurate and up-to-date client files, including intake, assessments, filing, and other required paperwork.
  • Performs daily data entry through Excel and other internal and external databases used by the EMP/RCA Programs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; or equivalent of 2-4 years' experience in a social service environment that demonstrates a sensitivity and appreciation for diverse cultural populations.
  • Bilingual, Spanish preferred.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Valid driver's license; valid vehicle insurance; clean driving record.
