Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Asset Management Associate to oversee our landmark urban campus development. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in real estate asset management, particularly within commercial or institutional environments. The Asset Management Associate will focus on maximizing property value through the formulation and implementation of strategic business plans for assigned projects, while delivering high-quality reporting to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement strategies to optimize property performance and enhance revenue streams.
  • Evaluate financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections, to uncover opportunities for enhancement and cost efficiencies.
  • Conduct underwriting and credit analysis for lease agreements.
  • Maintain and update internal ARGUS cash flow projections.
  • Generate detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, emphasizing key performance indicators, financial metrics, and strategic insights.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual business plan and budget.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor actions, and industry trends to identify potential opportunities and risks.
  • Manage property-level cash flow and business segment reporting within Asset Management.
  • Support capital markets initiatives, including fostering relationships and communication with lenders.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience with an institutional-quality real estate investor, lending institution, or real estate investment trust.
  • MBA candidates are encouraged to submit their applications.
  • Proficient in generating complex reports and analyzing large datasets using Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with Excel functions such as VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, INDEX & MATCH, SUMIF(S), COUNTIF(S), PMT, XIRR, and XNPV to enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Experience with Argus Enterprise is required; certification is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively in a deadline-oriented environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
