Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the State of New Mexico as a Line Manager II. In this role, you will provide support and oversight to the caregivers criminal history screening program, ensuring the highest level of health and well-being for New Mexicans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and oversee legal unit, training unit, and administrative staff to ensure seamless operations.
  • Oversee onboarding of new employees and meet resource needs of all staff to promote a positive work environment.
  • Act upon leave requests and review and approve timesheets to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance and direction to staff to promote growth and development.
  • Serve as backup for the training unit, legal unit, and Bureau Chief to ensure continuity of operations.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university.
  • Four (4) years of professional level experience operating within limited parameters and guidelines directly related to the purpose of the position.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively communicate with healthcare facilities, hospital caregivers, medical interns, licensed medical professionals, and CCHSP staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to be a quick learner and adapt to changing situations.
Working Conditions

This position is based in an office setting with extensive personal computer and phone usage. The ideal candidate must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and possess a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
