Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Cardiology and Medicine Enterprises. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in a clinic setting and be able to provide clinical and administrative expertise to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Record patient health history and note abnormal conditions for physicians.
  • Instruct patients on collecting necessary samples and tests.
  • Obtain vital signs and escort patients to rooms.
  • Observe, record, and report patient condition and reaction to drugs and treatments to physicians.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient chart entries and forward charts as appropriate.
  • Assist with scheduling tests and treatments.
  • Arrange referrals to specialists and obtain pre-authorizations when directed by the provider.
  • Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments.
  • Give injections and assist with lab testing and phlebotomy.
  • Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
  • Notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments.
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up instructions.
  • Contact pharmacy to order prescriptions and notify patients.
  • Control inventory and monitor the use of supplies.
  • Maintain up-to-date stock and monitor and maintain medical equipment.
  • Respond to and screen telephone calls for physicians, triaging patients to ensure productive departmental flow.

Qualifications:
A degree from an accredited school of nursing is required. Must be certified in the state of Arkansas and possess a current Arkansas License. Must have at least two years of clinical experience, along with lab, EKG, and X-ray experience. Must be fluent in Spanish.
