About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Ascension Saint Thomas Heart. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of chronic and acute conditions.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as needed, and educate patients on proper use and potential side effects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiology and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing required.
  • Nurse Practitioner certification in Cardiology required.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee required.
