KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Open and close retail locations as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop.
  • Stay informed about merchandise throughout the day.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Encourage guests to join the Wine Club.
  • Prepare and manage food samples, ensuring they are available throughout the day.
  • Demonstrate proper phone etiquette.
  • Process merchandise and wine orders with precision.
  • Manage multiple tasks and remain attentive in a high-traffic environment.
  • Exhibit a friendly demeanor and enjoy interacting with customers.
  • Adhere to company standards and protocols.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Maintain a clean and pressed uniform.
  • Be aware of guest flow and adjust pace as necessary.
  • Respond to inquiries about the estate and its history with knowledge and professionalism.
  • Stay vigilant regarding safety protocols.
  • Participate in Fire Safety Training and CPR training as recommended.
  • Cross-train in other operational areas, including the Tasting Room, Wine Bar, Tours, and Stockroom.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in retail or customer service is highly preferred, especially in upscale environments.
  • Strong guest relations and communication skills.
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with cash register operations.
  • Commitment to providing top-tier guest service.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proactive approach to anticipating guest needs.
  • Good judgment and multitasking abilities.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting of items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Requires prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Work environment may involve exposure to various physical risks, necessitating adherence to safety guidelines.
  • Work may occur indoors or outdoors, with varying temperatures and conditions.
  • High energy level and capacity to work in a dynamic environment.
