Job Overview

We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Director who will lead the execution of sales initiatives and strategies to meet local sales objectives. This role involves developing and nurturing a high-performing sales and marketing team to achieve outstanding results, while fostering and maintaining strong client relationships and overseeing sales operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive client engagement and retention strategies to enhance net promoter scores and position Sinclair as the preferred partner for local marketing solutions.

Provide accurate weekly revenue projections for both digital and broadcast platforms for the current month and the following two months, maintaining an accuracy within +/- 2% from the start to the end of each month.

Engage in revenue-generating initiatives by participating in sales calls and client meetings, observing client interactions with the sales team, and offering timely feedback or initiating impactful coaching sessions based on these observations.

Exhibit product knowledge and mastery of sales tools, ensuring that the sales team is held accountable for enhancing their expertise and skills in these areas.

Develop action plans based on sales analytics, utilizing data to make informed business decisions and providing the sales team with the necessary guidance to tackle issues within their control to enhance performance.

Take charge of ongoing talent development for the local team, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and effective knowledge transfer for new team members.

Monitor active marketing campaigns and leverage performance dashboards during regular sales meetings to ensure team members are optimizing revenue opportunities for their clients and adjusting strategies as necessary.

Demonstrate creativity and leadership in business development to inspire innovative approaches for expanding client lists, nurturing potential business pipelines, and increasing expenditures from existing clients.
