POSITION SUMMARY
Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service to all patrons. Prepare and arrange tables in the dining area and execute various food service tasks, including general cleaning and setup. Serve water, bread, and coffee while greeting guests by name whenever feasible during meal service. Organize trays properly for efficient unloading for stewarding and ensure adherence to safety standards at all times. Complete closing responsibilities, including storing reusable items, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning items to designated locations, securing refrigerators, restocking supplies, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing the daily cleaning checklist. Set up, stock, and maintain workstations. Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all dishware, glassware, and cutlery prior to use. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures and utilizing cleaning protocols to comply with health and safety regulations.
Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and safeguard company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Communicate with others using clear and professional language, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support team efforts to achieve common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: No related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
The pay range for this position is $19.80 to $19.80 per hour and includes health care benefits, retirement benefits, earned paid time off and/or sick leave, life insurance, disability coverage, and other wellness benefits. Benefits may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and conditions.
