Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Server to join our team. As a Food Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Service: Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, taking the time to understand their needs and preferences.
- Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring that all details are communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Food and Beverage Service: Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.
- Cash Handling: Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service, communicate effectively, and provide support when needed.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and a strong attention to detail.
- Certifications: Food safety certification and any other relevant certifications.
The Food Server will work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment, exposed to varying levels of noise, crowds, and smoke. The team member will be required to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical RequirementsThe Food Server will be required to stand for long periods, walk long distances, and lift up to 50 pounds. The team member will also be required to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and to repeat the same movements for long periods of time.
