Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management
    • Oversee the daily operations of the residential program, ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with our mission and values.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our staff, community partners, and stakeholders.
    • Monitor and report on program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance
    • Ensure that all program activities are in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
    • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that our services meet the highest standards.
    • Collaborate with our Compliance Manager to ensure that all program documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Staff Supervision and Development
    • Supervise and support a team of staff members, providing guidance and coaching to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality services.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure that staff are equipped to meet the needs of our children.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with our children, families, and community partners, ensuring that their needs are met and their voices are heard.
    • Collaborate with our treatment team to ensure that our children receive comprehensive and coordinated services.
    • Participate in regular meetings with our leadership team to discuss program performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay up-to-date with best practices in residential services, attending conferences and training sessions as needed.
    • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
    • Contribute to the development of our organization's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in a Human Services or related field or bachelor's degree plus 5 years' experience in child welfare administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Direct service delivery experience.
  • Experience working with traumatized/exploited children and children with challenging behaviors.
  • Excellent organizational/communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with staff, community groups, the courts, other agencies, and the general public.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) is a must.
  • Possession of a valid vehicle operator's license and clean driving record - preferred.
