Nursing Director RN

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are committed to providing high-quality care and services to our residents. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nursing Director RN to join our team.
Job Summary:The Nursing Director RN will be responsible for leading and managing the nursing team to provide exceptional care and services to our residents. This role will involve overseeing the implementation of care programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and recruiting and training nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and direction to the nursing team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.
- Care Program Implementation: Develop and implement care programs that meet the needs of our residents, including managing health and wellness, medication management, and quality assurance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including CLIA and OSHA requirements.
- Staff Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and train nursing staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by the nursing team and implement improvements as needed.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing with a current state/provincial license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years RN experience with at least one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environment preferred.
- Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of applied nursing practices, techniques, and methods in accordance with federal, state/provincial and board of nursing requirements.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, delegate assignments, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
