Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Ochsner Health System. As a key member of our pediatric pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to patients in our ambulatory care settings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric pharmacy practice, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients in our ambulatory care settings, including medication therapy management and patient education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and improve health outcomes.
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs and services to improve patient care and reduce healthcare costs.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in pediatric pharmacy practice and share knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a pharmacist in the state of practice.
  • Completion of a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency or 3 years of related experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
