Requirements:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges.
Education and Training:

  • Perform acceptance testing and measurements on electronic components and assemblies to verify system compliance.
  • Test various types of test equipment using microscopes, oscilloscopes, multimeters, voltage calibrators, spectrum analyzers, and other laboratory instruments.

  • Operate as a radio technician and main technician for COMSEC radios, ensuring secure and reliable communication.
  • Collaborate with others to work on and use radio transmitters, receivers, and other communication equipment.
  • Train others on how to properly operate and troubleshoot the equipment, promoting knowledge sharing and expertise.
  • Expertise with RF equipment and operations, with a focus on efficiency, safety, and compliance.
