Job Title: Electronics Technician III

Dynamic Science Inc is seeking a highly skilled Electronics Technician III to join our team. As an Electronics Technician III, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of complex electronic systems, including radar and communication equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the CNS work center and perform maintenance and repair of radar equipment
  • Repair, overhaul, and modify ground radar systems, including analog-to-digital interface systems
  • Isolate malfunctions using prescribed systems checking procedures, visual inspections, and electronic test equipment
  • Perform organizational and intermediate level equipment modifications according to time compliance technical orders
  • Assemble, install, and repair antenna systems, transmission lines, and waveguides
  • Troubleshoot and repair PAPI electric control circuits, including relays, contactors, limit switches, photo eyes, and loop detectors
  • Perform corrosion control and ensure maintenance data collection forms and inspections are accurately completed
  • Verify the operational condition of radar and integrated systems to be within prescribed parameters
  • Repair, adjust, and align radar and integrated systems to pass recertification and periodic flight checks
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Industrial Electronics or completion of an accredited Technical Apprentice Program in Electronics
  • Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in electronics repair, maintenance, and testing of ATC radar systems
  • US citizen with a Department of Defense security clearance
  • Valid US driver's license with photo
  • Digital Airport Surveillance Radars Systems (DASR) and Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS) certification
Desired Skills:
  • Minimum of five years of hands-on experience repairing, overhauling, and modifying ground radar systems
  • Experience with automated radar tracking systems, isolating malfunctions, and performing organizational and intermediate level equipment modifications
  • Knowledge of antenna systems, transmission lines, and waveguides
  • Experience with corrosion control and maintenance data collection
