The Housekeeping Attendant plays a key role in achieving high levels of guest satisfaction by meeting or exceeding the cleanliness and safety standards set by the Company and Hotel Brand, while also providing courteous and prompt responses to guest inquiries.


Key Responsibilities:


- Clean assigned guest rooms and replenish supplies according to quality and timeliness standards; remove trash; change linens; make beds; thoroughly clean bathrooms; vacuum and dust guest rooms; clean windows and balconies when applicable.


- Address guest inquiries in a professional manner; resolve issues effectively, and promptly report lost or missing guest items.

- Report any unsafe, damaged, or missing furnishings, equipment, or fixtures to the Executive Housekeeper or Shift Supervisor.

- Maintain necessary inventory on the housekeeping cart; order or acquire additional supplies as needed; store the cart according to established protocols.


- Assist in the Laundry Department as required.

- Participate in deep cleaning projects and daily special assignments.

- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:
- Familiarity with safety and security protocols and the ability to operate commercial housekeeping equipment safely.

- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to execute housekeeping tasks.

- Proficiency in the English language; knowledge of a second language is a plus.

- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

- Maintain a customer-focused approach.

- Excellent organizational and planning abilities.

- Strong interpersonal skills.

- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

- Adherence to corporate and brand standards and procedures.

Work Environment:
This position operates within a hotel setting. The role frequently utilizes standard housekeeping equipment.

Exposure to commercial and household cleaning chemicals and solutions is common.

This position is primarily indoors.
