Electrical Engineer Opportunity

i3 has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to support the Naval Research Laboratory, Tactical Electronic Warfare Division.

Mission Overview

The TEWD's mission is to protect the warfighter from emerging threats by advancing electronic warfare (EW) through RDT&E of current and future technologies.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop power distribution circuitry for radio frequency (RF) countermeasure systems.
  • Contribute to the research, design, development, test, and analysis of offboard RF countermeasure systems.
  • Design and test power supplies and power distribution networks.
  • Support integration and verification testing in laboratory and field environments.
  • Generate technical reports documenting design and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
  • Experience designing and testing digital or analog circuits.
  • Experience testing power supply circuitry and designing test fixtures for power distribution networks.
  • Experience with electronic test equipment.
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
  • Experience writing technical reports.
  • Security Clearance.
  • Knowledge of office administration and procedures.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully.
  • Interact with a diverse array of customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
