The Assessment Coordinator plays a critical role in maximizing facility reimbursement by working closely with the clinical team. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate UDA's (nursing assessments) prior to MDS ARD, with a focus on timely completion.
- Ensure all UDA's are filled out and locked, and that all necessary assessments are completed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure accurate and complete documentation.
- Monitor compliance with current and upcoming UDA's, and communicate with leadership as needed.
- Perform MDS assessments as delegated, and work with the MDS Coordinator to ensure accurate and complete documentation.
- Licensure as a nurse in the state of MA.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
