Job Description
  • Trend Identification and Analysis: Review system logs and real-time alerts for infrastructure anomalies, investigate trends, and report exceptions to our Information Security Program.
  • Committee Participation: Contribute to the Information Security Committee and create meeting dashboards to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • User Access Coordination: Oversee the User Access Program for all systems, ensuring secure access and removal of users upon termination or separation.
  • Risk Monitoring: Regularly assess and update the Bank's IT-related accepted risks based on changes in technology and vulnerabilities.
  • Configuration Review: Assist with the initial configuration review of third-party hosted systems to ensure compliance with our policies and procedures.
  • Industry Intelligence: Gather industry alerts and information from security-focused groups to inform the Information Security Committee about potential threats and recommend action steps.
  • Application Configuration: Verify that bank-wide applications meet our Information Security Program's standards.
  • Policy Updates: Collaborate with the Information Security Committee to update our cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls annually.
  • System Log Reviews: Coordinate scheduled reviews of system logs to verify system changes and employee access rights.
  • Vulnerability Scans: Perform scans on internal devices to identify vulnerabilities and provide guidance to system administrators.
  • Network Integrity: Analyze the integrity of changes made to our network through the Patch Management program, Change Management Program, user access changes, and system modification forms.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and conduct information security training for employees to enhance their understanding of our information security policies and procedures.
  • Adherence Monitoring: Monitor team members' adherence to our Information Security Program through clean desk audits, phishing testing, and other testing outlined in the Information Security Testing Program.
  • Security Framework: Research, implement, and maintain an information security framework through ongoing compliance monitoring.
  • Customer Training: Develop and coordinate information security training for customers through our statements and social media platforms.
  • Cybercrime Response: Assist with responding to potential cybercrime activity and data breaches according to our Incident Response Policy.
  • Transaction Recovery: Assist customers with recovering from fraudulent transactions by identifying recovery steps and coordinating follow-up with other departments.
  • Risk Assessments: Participate in the preparation of risk assessments for new critical technologies, applications, or devices.
  • Technology Vendors: Collaborate with Information Services and system administrators to select technology vendors supporting regulatory requirements.
  • Record Retention: Enforce our record retention program for electronic documents, classifying them in accordance with our Classification of Information Policy.
Requirements
  • Five or more years of experience in the information security field, preferably in the banking industry;
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) with a focus on business and/or technology; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) designation(s) are preferred but not required.

This role is hybrid, with one day onsite per week once you have assimilated into the team.
