Accounting and Financial Analysis Role

Eberhard Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to the business.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records, maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, and preparing financial statements.

In this role, you will also assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, conduct internal audits, and support external audits. You will work closely with other departments to streamline processes and improve financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting standards and regulations.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, including month-end, quarterly and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial analysis and insights.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve financial operations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
  • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, including preparing and filing tax returns.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • CPA or CMA certification a plus, but not required.
