Position Overview
As the Senior Living Executive Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding department coordinators and their respective programs. Your role will involve ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations, as well as the company's policies and procedures.
In this capacity, you will collaborate with the team to empower residents to embrace a purposeful life, focusing on the four essential pillars: Physical Fitness, Brain Fitness, Dining Experience, and Social/Spiritual Enrichment. The Executive Leader embodies and promotes the Mission, Values, and Principles of Service daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, manage, and strive to exceed financial targets, including income and capital expenditure budgets.
- Drive efforts towards achieving full occupancy and maintaining a waitlist.
- Ensure that all sales and marketing objectives are met; conduct regular sales meetings with the Sales Director.
- Supervise department coordinators to guarantee compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Maintain open communication with key family members every two months.
- Address all family inquiries promptly.
- Participate in training and seminars to stay updated on regulatory requirements and best practices in assisted living and memory care.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to identify and rectify site deficiencies and mitigate risks.
- Lead the recruitment process for the community, including interviewing and hiring department managers and approving all team member hires.
- Engage with residents to understand their social histories.
- Promote a culture of hospitality and deliver exceptional customer service to residents, families, visitors, and vendors.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages team member engagement and retention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of management experience.
- Experience in senior living, long-term care, home health, or related healthcare settings is preferred, particularly with residents experiencing dementia.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Empathy for the challenges faced by residents, families, and team members, along with problem-solving abilities to support them.
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to utilize various electronic devices.
- Flexibility in scheduling availability.
