Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer

Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer is tasked with expanding Ohio Catholic's commercial lending portfolio within the Cleveland region.
This role requires the Commercial Banker to deliver financial insights that assist members in identifying optimal solutions to achieve their objectives while ensuring the integrity of loan quality, fostering deposit growth, and promoting Ohio Catholic's suite of products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulates a strategic sales approach for the designated territory to cultivate and cross-sell lucrative commercial opportunities. Engages in thorough pre and post-sales planning involving both internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
2. Collaborates with internal and external partners through joint engagement activities with members and prospects to enhance and secure relationships by offering tailored financial solutions.
4. Initiates and negotiates loan agreements. Conducts interviews with members and prospects to evaluate the creditworthiness of their loan applications.
5. Regularly collaborates with Branch Managers on joint calls.
6. Provides assistance to members with inquiries or issues related to their loan or deposit accounts.
7. Reaches out to members with delinquent loans.
8. Maintains a thorough understanding of all laws and regulations governing lending practices within financial institutions. Ensures adherence to all relevant credit union policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations.
9. Stays informed about industry trends and local economic conditions to optimize lending outcomes.
10. Fosters community relationships through active participation in service initiatives and business organizations, projecting a positive image of the credit union within the local community.
11. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Banking within the Cleveland Market
- Expertise in Loan Structuring and Credit Analysis
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive, team-oriented demeanor
- Strong problem-solving skills and resolution techniques
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational capabilities; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.; Office-based role requiring the use of a PC and phone; must possess adequate hearing and vision to perform job functions; may involve prolonged periods of sitting in front of a computer.

$100,000.00 - $200,000.00 annually
