About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Specialist to join our team at ColumbiaCare Services, Inc. in the Portland area. As a Residential Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals with serious mental illness in obtaining independent housing in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in navigating complex systems, including rental applications and requirements, HUD/alternative subsidy applications, and benefits systems.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients in terms of psychiatric stability and symptom management.
  • Work directly with clients to help them overcome barriers to obtaining housing.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.

What We Offer

ColumbiaCare Services, Inc. offers a competitive compensation package, including a hourly wage of $24.00 - $26.00 DOE/Credentials, as well as additional benefits such as a 5% Language Differential for bilingual or multilingual candidates.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Eligibility for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration.
  • Basic knowledge of the mental health system, including public and community services.
  • A valid Oregon driver's license and a safe driving record.
