The National Adoption Association is in search of a Project Operations Manager to enhance our initiatives.

Position Summary:

The Project Operations Manager will play a crucial role in driving the objectives of the AdoptUSKids program by providing essential support to the leadership team and collaborating with child welfare agencies and stakeholders. This position will oversee project logistics, manage data dashboards, develop project communications, and ensure the smooth operation of administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in social work, nonprofit management, business administration, operations management, or a closely related discipline is required. A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in operations or project management with progressive responsibilities, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role. Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, and child welfare is highly desirable. Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent credentials is advantageous. Willingness to travel 4-6 times annually is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management

· Oversee all logistical elements of projects from inception to completion, including resource planning, timelines, and communications.

· Analyze evaluation reports to recommend program enhancements.

· Present program updates and announcements to internal and external stakeholders.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine project tools and systems.

· Ensure compliance with grant requirements, including reporting and budgeting.

· Attend meetings to gather essential information for project tracking.

· Manage special projects as assigned.

2. Data Management

· Supervise the collection and coordination of data for various reporting needs.

· Ensure quality assurance in data collection processes.

· Utilize data to guide decision-making.

· Assist new members with data system onboarding and troubleshooting.

· Collaborate with evaluation teams to assess outcomes and improve quality.

3. Administrative Oversight

· Draft and review reports for grantees.

· Manage administrative functions for platforms utilized by the organization.

· Maintain effective communication and partnerships within the project.

· Prepare operational reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

· Guide the Project Specialist in data collection and administrative tasks.

4. Public Relations & Event Coordination

· Organize logistics for events and travel arrangements.

· Lead the planning of informational webinars on relevant topics.

· Communicate program announcements to stakeholders.
