Job Overview

At EVRAZ North America, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at our plant in Pueblo, Colorado. The successful candidate will provide electrical, electronic, and combustion-instrumentation maintenance to all areas of the Mill in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical, electronic, and combustion-instrumentation maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Mill.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, dismantle, assemble, and install a variety of equipment throughout the mill.
  • Work with Electric Shop, Combustion Lab, and Electronic Shop equipment and tools, mobile equipment of every kind, controls, switches, valves, ovens, furnaces, machinery, cranes, prints, and drawings.
  • Observe lockout procedures and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform routine maintenance and assist Maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Operate overhead cranes as required.
  • Work in both inside and outside environmental conditions, exposed to elevated noise levels, vibrations, extreme cold and heat, and other hazardous conditions.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree or 2 years of experience in an applicable field.
  • Valid Colorado's license and mobile equipment qualification.
  • Strong troubleshooting, repair, and installation skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Physical ability to climb, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, make repetitive motions, hear, and lift up to 75 pounds.
