We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Voestalpine Railway Systems Nortrak. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CNC milling machines, hydraulic presses, saws, planers, cranes, and other metalworking equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
- Train operators on maintenance procedures and ensure they understand the importance of regular equipment checks.
- Develop and maintain a work order system to track and prioritize maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance techniques and technologies to ensure our equipment remains at the forefront of industry standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational technical training in a mechanical field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to pass a corporate maintenance test.
- Forklift and crane certification a plus.
