About the Role

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Associate Broker to join our Private Equity team in St. Louis, MO. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering client-facing services and working closely with top leaders in the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze data on exposures, loss history, and coverage needs for Middle Market renewal strategy documents, submissions, and proposals.
  • Identify and analyze client exposures and determine markets to utilize, ensuring detailed evaluation of qualified companies in the marketplace.
  • Compile and analyze data and draft assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports, and other presentations tailored to the needs of each client.
  • Accountable for routine support activities to brokers and senior brokers with defined deadlines.
  • May facilitate and/or participate in client/broker strategy meetings.
  • May send requests for quotations to the insurance carriers with opportunities to negotiate programs.
  • Monitor and follow-up on invoice generation, local policy issuance, and premium collection within defined deadlines.
  • Handle client open items lists and respond to client ad-hoc requests and questions within ability/knowledge.
  • Liaise with Aon network offices on global program coordination activities.
  • Maintain effective and positive relationships internally and externally.
  • Assist with the processing of policy and related documents.
  • Provide support to the account management process, when appropriate.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance marketplace, including products and services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, refined organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Proven ability to prioritize challenging requirements and deadlines under pressure.
  • A passion for team work and enjoys supporting others.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and having a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Maintain an active Property and Casualty insurance license, or be able to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment.
