Maine Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Clinical Education and Vocational Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in transforming the lives of patients with bleeding disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with setting up 504 plans and IEPs to ensure students' needs are met.
  • Provide career interest assessments, resume advice, and interview practice to open doors to fulfilling careers.
  • Help patients navigate the shift from high school to college or the workforce, ensuring they have the resources and confidence to thrive.
  • Collaborate with external programs, vocational rehabilitation services, and college disability offices to offer comprehensive support.

Requirements:

  • M.A. or M.S. in Education (specialty in rehabilitation or vocational evaluation).
  • C.R.C. (Certified Rehabilitation Counselor).
  • One to two years' experience in counseling theory, physical and psychological effects of disability, socio-economic affects of disability, occupational analysis, vocational evaluation and training.
