Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement 504 plans and IEPs, ensuring students' needs are met.
- Provide career interest assessments, resume advice, and interview practice to help patients explore fulfilling career paths.
- Support patients in navigating transitions from high school to college or the workforce, providing resources and confidence to thrive.
- Work with external programs, vocational rehabilitation services, and college disability offices to offer comprehensive support.
- M.A. or M.S. in Education (specialty in rehabilitation or vocational evaluation).
- C.R.C. (Certified Rehabilitation Counselor) certification.
- 1-2 years of experience in counseling theory, physical and psychological effects of disability, socio-economic affects of disability, occupational analysis, vocational evaluation, and training.
