New England Cancer Specialists is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the conduct of clinical trials at our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize current knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines to conduct clinical trials, ensuring the protection of human subjects.
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and implementation of day-to-day clinical activities and procedures related to research protocols.
- Assist in recruiting, screening, and enrolling volunteer patients, ensuring informed consent and documentation in the electronic health record.
- Monitor and record patient response to treatment, communicating study data and results promptly to sponsors and regulatory bodies.
- Develop and maintain records on medication dispensation and usage during the course of the study, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
- Prepare for monitoring visits, resolving outstanding data queries or regulatory issues, and coordinating audits.
- May oversee and guide the work of other nursing and/or support staff engaged in study activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a science field.
- GCP and Human Subjects Protection certification preferred.
- Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification preferred.
- Oncology Research experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing demands.
