Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Best Choice Products. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for supporting the daily HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, timekeeping, leaves of absence, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support to employees and managers, including employee consultations, timecard maintenance, and HR inquiries.
  • Assist supervisors with the time and attendance system to ensure accurate work time punches and non-work time.
  • Address employment relations issues, conduct investigations, and attend disciplinary meetings as needed.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for staff.
  • Support planning and facilitating engagement and employee experience events.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and communicate HR policies to employees.
  • Assist with reviewing and tracking training, continuing education, and work assessments for employees.
  • Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
  • Participate in Safety and Engagement Committees.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and leaves of absences.
  • Prepare and update employment records related to the employee lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3 years' experience in an HR role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, conflict resolution skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and ensure timely deliverables.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, and experience with HRIS and talent management systems.
