Job Description

C Squared Systems, LLC is a leading provider of RF engineering, consulting, and software development services. Our team specializes in delivering seamless wireless coverage solutions from RF analysis to design and implementation of DAS systems and Wi-Fi networks. We utilize our proprietary software, Site Portal, to remotely monitor and manage complex multi-vendor environments.

As a mid-level Low Voltage Field Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting with the installation and construction of various distributed antenna systems. You will become familiar with RF concepts and best practices, and will be exposed to a variety of test equipment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installation of coaxial cable types of various sizes.
  • Installation of fiber cables and fiber heads.
  • Performing cable terminations and fusion splicing.
  • Performing a variety of testing such as sweep and PIM.
  • Working hands-on with spectrum analyzers, transmitters, and other electronic test equipment.
  • Performing site surveys and in-depth walkthroughs.
  • Leading installation efforts, troubleshooting, and managing construction tasks.
  • Communicating with customers, stakeholders, and our cross-functional team.
  • Installation and repair of various DAS equipment from a variety of manufacturers.
  • Maintaining test equipment and tools for continuous use.
  • Traveling to various job sites with some overnight stays.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 4 years of general construction experience. Previous experience with DAS construction and other cellular systems is preferred.
  • General construction knowledge and know-how. Existing OSHA certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret cabling diagrams and construction drawings.
  • Proficient with using various tools such as drills, saws, torque wrenches, crimpers, etc.
  • Experience fabricating various mounting setups and attaching them to various materials.
  • High attention to detail and excellent ability to multi-task is crucial.
  • Has the desire to learn and advance within a technical field.
  • Proficient with using standard computer applications.
  • Comfortable working in the field and have availability for nights.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
