Job Description

Mount Indie is seeking a highly skilled Scheduling SME to join our team. As a key member of our acquisition team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level scheduling guidance and support to our Government PM and PEO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquisition Scheduling Expertise: Serve as the resident expert in DoD acquisition processes, analytical methods, and techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by the USG.
  • Schedule Development and Maintenance: Develop, analyze, and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and provide technical advice to the Government PEO, PM, and senior staff on mission-critical scheduling challenges.
  • Program Management: Assist in planning, organizing, and managing general and critical aspects of the development, production, and/or deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support, planning, coordination, and participation in integrated program reviews and conferences.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement activities as members of, or advisors to, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Product/Process Improvement Working Groups (PIWGs).
  • Communication: Facilitate meetings, create CDRLs, review IMS, create PCN, create WORK REQUIREMENTS DEFINITION (WRD), and demonstrate an understanding of PWS, SOW, DIDs, CDRLs, & ASP.

Required Experience:

One of the following combinations of education/experience:

  • Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA)/Master of Science (MS)) and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD -OR-
  • BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent experience, and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD - OR-
  • HS Diploma, and twenty (20) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD
  • Expert-level proficiency in scheduling tools including but not limited to Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualification:

  • Knowledge of CCaR, PIIE, WAWF, FAR, and DFAR
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Form 1067, and Form 206.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force (CAV AF) system
